My Husband Noticed My Hair Loss and Thinning Hair and Set Aside Money to Help Me Do Something About It when I Was Ready

When my husband’s hair started to get a little thin he let it grow out a bit more and then styled it to conceal the thinning. As his hair line began to recede he just cropped it extremely short. When it receded a bit more, he just started shaving his head and using the hair products a bald man uses. He looks really good with that shiny bald head. Me? Well, I does not look so good going bald. However, my hair is thinning a lot so I am using natural hair clip ins to conceal the hair loss and individual hair strand thinning.

This is no big secret for women. Probably most women reading this have some sort of hair loss or thinning that at least they are noticing even if no one else is. Husbands know it too. They see the changes happening in their wives. They just would not dare say anything. Read the rest of this entry »

What Are the Best Franchise Opportunities?

Of course it is obvious that something like a McDonald’s is not a great idea for a variety of reasons. The first is that they are in a whole world of trouble and a big part of that trouble stems from the fact that they have tens of thousands of franchises on just about every corner in the developed world. The world does not need any more McDonald’s and the ones that are already there are in a real life and death struggle. So it is about fifty years too late to get in on that deal. Of course the uniquely English thing would be a Fish and Chips restaurant. Say one like Harry Ramsden. Read the rest of this entry »

Deciding Between Cable and DirecTV

ZyXEL DOCSIS 3.0 Comcast Compatible Cable Modem (BRG35503)When I moved to my first apartment, I was not sure if I was going to get Comcast or DirecTV. I had heard a lot of good things about both of them, and I decided to go online and learn about each one. I knew that I would be able to find a website that would help me compare the two television programming services, and that is exactly what I found with http://www.cable-tv.com/comcast/. I was not leaning one way or another when I first went to this site, but I quickly saw that DirecTV had more of what I was looking for.

I looked at the prices and channel lists first, and I liked the promotional prices that DirecTV was offering new customers. I looked to see what my charges would be after this promotional period had ended, and the prices were still within the budget I had set for myself for TV service. I also liked their channel line up, because they had a few channels that Comcast did not have. Read the rest of this entry »

Wedding anniversary greetings from The President or The Queen

A long and happy marriage is something to be celebrated by friends and family alike, but a personal greeting from The President of The United States or from Her Majesty The Queen can prove to be the icing on the cake for many couples on their Wedding Anniversary.

It will come as no surprise that President Obama and Queen Elizabeth don’t have the date of your relatives’ anniversary pinned up on their wall planner, so it is up to the children, grandchildren, relatives or friends to notify them of the approaching date.

In the USA, requests for greetings cards from The President for 50th, 60th or 70th Wedding Anniversaries should be sent to: The Greetings Office, The White House, 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington, D.C. 20500. The White House is currently asking that requests are received at least six weeks in advance of the event and will send greetings to US citizens only. You can also apply through your congressman – In some instances this may be easier and you may be able to apply via your congressman’s website.

Chilean Wedding Customs

Usually, in Chile, weddings go like this:

The man proposes and (so long as the lady accepts), he offers her an engagement ring which she places on her ring finger, just like in England and most of Europe.

Then they usually do alternate wedding ceremony rings and wear them on their proper ‘ring’ fingers.

Then, each time they set the marriage date, they have the Civil Service, which is the authorized aspect of things. This normally includes going to a Registry Office and having the authorized whys and wherefores read out in entrance of a few of your closest family and friends. That is when the couples transfer their wedding ceremony ring to the left ring finger in the event that they want. Plenty of Chileans put on their rings on their right ‘ring’ fingers too – it doesn’t matter to them. This service is then followed by an enormous dinner and a small occasion for aforementioned shut household and mates and a few presents are given.

The True Meaning Of The Original 7 Step Hindu Wedding

Before marriage there will be an engagement ceremony (Mangni) which is organised at the brides place or a banquet hall. The family of bride and groom come together to celebrate the forth coming wedding ceremony. Both the families exchange gifts and sweets, jewelry and clothing. A ring ceremony (Misri) is then done to solemnise the engagement ceremony. A lunch or a dinner is organised for all members at the ceremony. Among Gujarati families the bride’s family presents the Matli (savory snacks and Indian sweets) to the groom.

Other ceremonies include Mehndi Party which is celebrated by the bride’s family. It includes Henna paintings on hands and feet of the Bride and close family members. Mehndi signifies strength of love in marriage.

Raas Garba is celebrated by Gujaratis often held in a hall which involves dancing with Dandia (Garba).
